Due to the nature and size of our business we ask for a small deposit to confirm your booking (£10per head which is returned to you on the day of your visit). We also operate on a first come first served basis as we have limited tables.

We are an independently run restaurant and as such, our continued viability relies heavily on reservations being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any changes to plans or reservations. We apologise that cancellation charges have become necessary but regrettably our experience now dictates this procedure.

  • We request £10 per person to confirm your reservation and will be returned to you on the day of your visit. We work on a first come first served basis and your booking will be confirmed once we have received your deposit.
  • A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to receive a refund for any deposits in the case of cancellation.
  • In all cases we require at least 2 hours notice for any amendments to your booking. Small amendments may be made after the booking is confirmed, but additional space cannot be guaranteed.
  • If there are any cancellations or amendments outside of these timescales The Hare Restaurant reserves the right to implement a cancellation fee by retaining the deposit held.
  • However, if we are able to resell your table to another group of the same size then no cancellation fee will be issued.
  • Allergies can be catered for however, we cannot guarantee some of the ingredients we use, are not packed or produced in an environment free of the allergen concerned. Please see our dietary guidance policies on the menu section of the website.
  • We require at least 24 hours notice for Vegetarian or Pescatarian menus to be able to have sufficient time to order and prepare alternative dishes. Please inform us at the time of your booking as these menus will not be available otherwise.
  • If you have received a voucher, please refer to the terms and conditions of the voucher which were given to you with the voucher.
  • Vouchers will be seen as a monetary value and can be redeemed to the value at which they were purchased at. Please note that all prices and menus are subject to change and availability.
